The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Professional Services to lead our professional services teams. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end P3 methodology (Proven Path to Performance),.  Including supporting the Sales organization develop the winning solution strategy and supporting statement of work, delivery of our software solutions to our clients, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will lead a team of professionals, including project managers, consultants, and implementation specialists, to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the professional services division, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery methodologies, tools, and processes.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to understand client needs, propose appropriate solutions, and ensure successful project scoping and delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for any project-related issues or concerns.
  • Monitor client satisfaction levels and proactively address any areas for improvement.
Project Management and Delivery:
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software implementation and consulting projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Define project methodologies, best practices, and standards, promoting consistent and efficient project execution across the team.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide guidance and support to project managers to address risks, resolve issues, and optimize resource allocation.
Team Development and Performance:
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top talent for the professional services division, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing performance evaluations to team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring their success.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Supply Chain Solutions is a must.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a leadership role within a professional services or consulting organization, preferably in the supply chain management space.
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience hiring, managing, and developing professional services directors/managers, and consultants.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Experience influencing senior management and setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align professional services initiatives with broader company goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or project management certification is a plus.
